Our Story

Byna's journey began with two young engineers — one mechanical, one telecommunications — who were more than colleagues; they were classmates and friends from school, united by a shared dream of making a difference in Lebanon.

We began developing a freelancing platform to empower every Lebanese worker — a vision to help people find work and opportunities. As we worked on this project, we started adding shop functionality to support our users better.

The Pivot

That's when we realized we had discovered something special. The Byna idea emerged, and we made the bold decision to drop everything — the entire freelancing project — and focus completely on creating Lebanon's revolutionary shopping platform.

Two friends from school decided to follow their dreams and started developing a freelancing app to help every Lebanese worker find opportunities.

The Discovery

While developing the freelancing platform, we added shop functionality to support our future users. This feature revealed the real potential of solving Lebanon's shopping challenges.

We dropped everything — the entire freelancing project — and made the bold pivot to focus completely on Byna, Lebanon's revolutionary shopping platform.

Today

Byna now serves thousands of users with Lebanon's first AI shopping assistant, offering the best prices and unmatched convenience with over 4000 products.

Managing and organizing thousands of products from multiple stores required building a robust, scalable system from scratch.

Product Photography

Photographing countless items to create a professional, consistent catalog that users could trust and rely on.

System Architecture

Creating a complex system that handles inventory, orders, payments, and delivery while maintaining speed and reliability.

But we didn't just overcome these challenges — we conquered them and went even further.
